In 2014, a well-known, highly-respected Desoto County businessman, Rex Haynes, asked Unknown Child to become his first honored non-profit at a benefit he named “Good Works Series.”  This was held at the Landers Center in Desoto County and had many prominent attendees, including some from Israel.   Haynes passed away early in 2017.  Because of his service as a Board member and his love for the Unknown Child Foundation, his former business continues supporting Unknown Child in his memory.
