In its second year of HLMS students collecting Pennies, a local homeschool group, Generation SC, heard about the project and asked to join in.  Their involvement became integral to the completion of the project.  These dedicated students held car washes, carnivals and sold coupon books, just a few of their many drives.  Their major contribution was purchasing a $25,000 maquette as a gift to a local Holocaust Survivor who visited with students on several occasions.
